HEY GUYS!   I sure do miss all of the conversations we used to have.  I've
been trucking along building my business.  I've progressed  WELL BEYOND the
point I was when I first started on the list, but learned a lot of what I
know and what I've used to build my knowledge on, right here on the list.
Captain O'Lary was one of the names I remember the most, although I remember
Tim pretty well too.  As a matter of fact, just about everyone on your list
of names is familiar to me.  

Why did the list die?  Sort of strange.  Anyway, just to catch everyone up
on myself:

I use DreamWeaver.  I am going to be learning FrontPage in the immediate
future since I'm teaching a college class that spends a week or so on
FrontPage (I teach part time).  I love the control that CSS gives me and
know how to handcode it and html very well.  I know php fairly well,
although I outsource most of my work to one person (that I met on this list
and have been using ever since).  He has been a key factor in my business
growing to the point it has grown (THANKS LAURI VAIIN FOR YOUR CONTINUED
WORK).

I do a lot of e-commerce, marketing, and database work.

I've designed around 125 web sites over the last 6 years and have just made
myself learn Paint Shop Pro.  I've been using Corel PhotoPaint for almost 4
years and was too intimidated by Paint Shop Pro and PhotoShop to tackle
them, but found myself not being able to do what I wanted to do.  (To be
fair, I had not upgraded my version of Corel PhotoPaint, so that may have
been part of the problem.).

Anyway I LOVE Paint Shop Pro.  Here is a graphic that I created that is the
one I am most proud of so far:

I'll wrap up, but let me say that, as much as time permits, I'll be glad to
help out any way I can.

PS... I am from Bainbridge, GA (in the United States).  The closest "BIG"
city is Tallahassee, FL which is about 40 miles south of me.  If I'm not
mistaken, that's where Captain O'Lary was from.

Wow, reading those names was the equivalent of opening up my high school
yearbook. And then there's Bart the graphic artist, and the Wizard of DOS.
Ah, the memories. Yes, this list is what boosted me on my quest for HTML
knowledge and kept me in line. Hmm, perhaps everybody has trickled over to
any one of the numerous mailing lists available now. All the mailing lists I
am subscribed to have pretty much turned into ghost towns, except for
css-discuss which is too busy for me to remain subscribed to. Of the HWG/IWA
lists I am subscribed to (basics, languages, style, techniques), techniques
is the only one that has any sign of life.
