Multi site shopping carts

Hi

My client requires a multi site shopping cart, does anybody have any 
recommendations?

It should be a stand alone system easily added to existing html pages, and 
should offer drop down boxes and text input.

It should not be hosted by a third party, with a monthly charge, nor use a 
shared cgi-bin, although this latter point is not essential.
