What you could do is to have a Javascript function that is called on the 
onLoad event of the body tag that first checks to see if your cookie 
exists and if so, then it redirects to another page, otherwise it just sets 
the cookie.

Email me and I'll send you the code for setting and retrieving cookies that 
I use, if you want.

Actually, I'm not *entirely* sure that this will work.  It depends on when 
the onLoad event gets called (I'm not sure, but it may get called *after* 
the page completely loads), but I'm sure that some other boffin on the list 
can answer that :o).
