I cannot thank you enough for taking this on and giving it a whirl. 
The page looks a lot better.

In NS4 the navigation bar at the top is still shoved over to the 
left, but at least the CSS button is now where it belongs. I just 
d/l'ed and installed NS 7.0 and all looks fine on that browser. Opera 
5.01, still has the bgcolor just up to the letters, no padding.

I will go over your suggestions and the files regarding strict HTML 
4. Your many suggestions will help me along the way in grasping what 
and how the questions I've been having regarding CSS.
