Hi Fuzzy, Ted, et al,
Yes, I'm winding up a very stressful, intense week or two -- so my .02-cents.
It isn't valid without the DTD, but the browser makers, in their efforts to
make our lives easier, allow their software to interpret HTML with just the
HTML tag.
If you care, then you know about the DTDs and the W3C and the HWG,
otherwise, you're just coding your little heart out in the dark.
So, you're both right -- Fuzzy, it's not valid without a DTD, Ted, all you
need to see something is the HTML declaration at the top of the page.
So, are apples turning orange??
