Me too.  But that's because I got into computers just a little while before 
Windows first appeared.  DOS was the only way to do it.

I'm glad I know a little something about DOS.  It helped me tremendously to 
be able to tweak or fix many things on my own rather than pay a techie to 
do it.

I'm one of those people who feels that a person should have a good HTML 
hand-coding foundation.  I started out doing my own coding and only 
recently started using an editor.  I confess I mostly use Netscape Composer 
now.  It's just easier to actually see what the page is looking like as I 
work on it.  But I've never yet been able to create a page ion Composer and 
upload it as is.  There's always something that I have to go in and 
hand-fix.  If I didn't know HTML, I wouldn't have a clue how to make those 
little changes.
