Thank you for the suggestions.  I have 3 or 4 to check out in depth.  The
alternative would be to add a memo/rich text field to the application to
track correspondence on a selected project.  If I handle it as a separate
app. on a discussion forum then I won't bog down the main database.  I hope
to be able to pass a project code to the discussion forum and have it open
up on the appropriate discussion topic (one per project).  Cheers!
