Verio, and specifically their viaVerio Reseller Division is by far the
best hosting company in the world, hands down.  I have also used them
for over 4 years ( and currently do), and have nothing but great things
to say about them.

How about a success story?  I've been with Verio (www.verio.com)
for over 4 years now and don't have any complaints other than
sometimes not having all of the software supported on the cheaper
platforms (specifically Tomcat).
