On the topic of contracts, etc.

I was looking for a site simular to a dice.com, or monster.com.  The
difference being, I am looking for people who want smaller web-development
done for them.  Most of the listings on any major employment site are for
long contracts, or permanent positions.  I am looking for a site that would
get me in touch with smaller companies who are looking for a freelance
developer to do some shorter contracts, create or modify existing websites,
etc.  I have been getting customers through friends, word of mouth, etc. but
I would like to bid on other projects as well, and was wondering if anyone
knows of a forum for this kind of thing.

I understand that many in here are developers as well, but any information
would be a great start.
