That's the idea - and probably hundreds if not thousands go for it.
It's not really a scam if they actually do register for you - except for the 
fact that saying there is someone else about to register the .net is a bald 
faced lie. How would they know ?

But you say that you know it's a good idea to register all extensions - are you 
aware of the multi Billion dollar class action lawsuit against Netsol for not 
policing the extensions and making sure they go where they belong - commercial 
/ ISP / non profit  ??
