Thanks to everybody who responded for your feedback, positive remarks, ideas,

> Put it in chronological order
When I had to choose between alphabetical or chronological order, I chose
alphabetical figuring it would be easier to find a certain name in the list.
Additionally, I figured that in the future the order of and/or exact date of
death may not be very significant (except for the anniversary.) However I have
decided to create a list in chronological order and allow the visitor to choose.
> Don't abbreviate.
All the abbreviations were copied from the U.S. Department of Defense's
"DefenseLINK" website [http://pentagon.gov]. I have expanded the abbreviations
of the state names, however rank titles are normally abbreviated when it is part
of a soldier's name, and I believe it should be left that way.

The images will be balanced correctly on the other pages after a couple of
messages have been left.

Actually, in browsers with better CSS support (ex: IE5/Mac, Opera, Mozilla, N6+,
Konqueror) the flag is in a fixed position as the page scrolls.

Trying to get politically correct on me huh? :-) According to Opera's default
online dictionary at Lycos infoplease.com, the definition of "serviceman" is:
1. a member of the armed forces of a country.
Thanks again to everybody for your feedback.
