Hi Carol,
I finally found some time and took a look at your website
http://www.cbwdesign.com. I'm using MSIE 4.0, 640x480, 17 inch screen and
33.6 modem speed.
I was immediately impressed with the speed that your site loaded. Also,
while I don't advocate splash pages myself, you did provide a comprehensive
navigational list and your graphic loaded fast enough that I was not
"compelled" to click away.
On your portfolio page, I note that you don't have any of your graphics
showing up. Did you forget to post them on your server? <VBG> Also, have
you thought of providing a link to your clients' websites so visitors can go
and take a look? You could do this by bringing up a new screen and thus not
"lose" your viewer while they take a look.
Your Paint Shop Pro page is nicely done; likewise the Tutorial page. Some
nice choices on your books.
I have just one tiny "complaint" and that has to do with your choice of
words in Item #4 under "Advil". Being a graphic designer myself, I cringe
when I see any suggestion about "stealing" graphics. Perhaps you could come
up with another word? Maybe "...found some free graphics to place on ...
blah blah blah".
Anyhoo -- I did enjoy wandering through your pages. All are nicely done
with lots of space which makes them easy to read.
Good luck!
Susan E. Lewis
