I've never created partitions, although I think you have to do that if you
want IE3 and 4 on the same machine.

I installed IE5 without getting rid of IE4 (there's an option hidden
somewhere in the installation to do that) - IE4 is now a little cranky
(it's running in "compatability mode" whatever the hell that is) but okay
for testing on.

Netscape has always been my default browser, and I've had problems with IE
trying to take over at installation time, but not afterwards.
