Re: taking webimages to printby "Lucinda Belden" <diverse(at)cyberramp.net> |

Hi Moira, About getting from a web image at 72dpi to a print at about 300dpi. Try PhotoShop. Open the graphic as the original psd file. Click on image, go to image size and open. Uncheck the constrain box and then change the resolution to 230dpi, then click ok. What you get is a print size version of your graphic. Don't get excited though. You can try tweaking that version some by sharpening the edges and use the blurring tool some depending on what graphic you are working with. Your best bet will be to use the new graphic as a template to recreate a new graphic at 300dpi but this might be better than having to create the graphic all over from scratch. Second idea, print the graphic directly from the web site. Then scan it in with a scanner set a 300dpi.
