I just bought Printmaster Deluxe 7.0 this weekend and I'm very pleased with
it. Formerly, I have only used Microsoft Greetings for my cards, banners,
etc., but it doesn't have the option of designing business cards, and I
wanted to make my own letterhead and business cards, which Printmaster does
quite nicely.

In what little time I have spent using Printmaster in the last couple of
days, I have noticed that it's a bit more complicated to learn than
Greetings, but then Greetings is a VERY simple program. Printmaster works
with layers, sort of like Photoshop, and it took me a little while to figure
out how to work on each layer of a project that was "ready-made". But I'm
very pleased with the results.

It didn't occur to me to read the license until you wrote to the list, but I
see now that it doesn't permit using their graphics for commercial purposes.
I also have a clipart collection called Imagine It, which has 333,000
images. So what if I used one of their graphics on a web page I designed
for someone else? Would they really come after me for copyright
infringement? I guess this is a "shades of gray" area that I need to read
more about. I sort of thought that if I design a web page, the design is
mine. I have seen plenty of pages out there displaying icons, etc., for
web pages and many of them use the same exact images, so what would be the
difference in using the art from software that is out there for that very
purpose? After all, I'm not going to go out and sell or display all their
images as a collection.

Do I have the wrong attitude about this?
