I believe that watermarking is usually waste of time and money.  We
have had our site "accidently borrowed" twice this year and both
times they trashed the images enough while editing that the
watermarking & text commenting (GIF's) disappeared completely.

Watermarking also degenerates the images enough that I don't
like using it.  Why sweat over an image with expensive software
just to trash it with watermarking.
