I hope this isn't too much off the subject. There have been several
discussions about the comparisons, pros and cons about graphics software
here. But I have questions about the leading HTML editors as well....
specifically Hot Dog, Homesite, Dreamweaver. I'm trying to understand what
might be the best editor.. easiest format, etc.... but I also want to know
how they handle graphics.
Do any of these have graphics optimizers integrated, or do I always have to
use a full graphics program to find this feature? For example... is
Dreamweaver organized to be used in tandem with Fireworks or will they work
independently from each other? Will I have to use both for graphics
optimization? How about Hot Dog and Homesite? In other words.. .what are
the differences if I was just going to pick one for primary use? There is
so much software out there now it's difficult to try them all... I'm just
hoping for a leg up. Naturally, I'm hoping the one I pick will also have a
validator.
If anyone wants to answer me privately about editors, I welcome your
comments.
Thanks in advance,
Lonna
