Hi Raymond. Have to agree. I have Photoshop, Director, Premier, =
Flash, Fireworks. All Adobe products. I too am a non manual =
experimental type. I revert to the manual if I am stumped but, for the =
most part I am a graphical person and learn by doing. Adobe without a =
doubt has created one of the most confusing systems to use. Try =
figuring out the tutorials for flash or some of the other programs. My =
tool of Choice is Corel and in particular Corel Photopaint! I've been =
using this as my main source of Web Production graphics application for =
years. Why? Because, for a high end product it's learning curve is =
more friendly than some and because it's standard, stock equipment like =
filters and effects is endless. You don't have to add plugins because =
you can do almost anything you can think of with what comes stock with =
the program. On top of that , the compression is increible. This =
program is a joy and my right hand lierally! Once you experiment and =
play around you can create effects in a snap within this one program =
without having to get extra plugins or bounce off to another =
application. It's options rich and to this day I have still not =
explored all the posibilities :-) The possibilites never end!

To bad that Corel Corp does not pay me for doing this 'advertisement =
