Seeing as everyone else has thrown their ideas in, I thought you might like
to try a simpler way:
(I know this is in PSP, but I'm sure there's an equivalent in PS4)
Create your text in a neutral colour (e.g. mid-grey).
Duplicate that graphic (so you have two identical ones).
Use the "colorise" tool to change the color of the text to that which you
want.
Easy.
(P.S. Sorry for the English spelling... Note that I've been writing so much
HTML I'm starting to write "color", not "colour".)
