I found the four tutorials, that are available on the second CD ROM that =
comes
with Photoshop 5.0, invaluable when I first started out. Tutorial 1, "Wor=
king
with Selections, provides instructions on how to use the marquee tool whi=
ch
allows you to create rectangular, elliptical, etc, shapes. For example, t=
o
create a circle you select the elliptical marquee tool and hold the shift=
key
down as you drag to define the size and position of the circle. Double cl=
ick
the elliptical marquee tool to view the marquee options dialog box. Hope =

helps a little.
