Web Designer

Leading Internet Company backed by a premier venture capital firm seeks Web
Designer/Art Director with 1-2 years professional web design experience.
Position requires knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, GIF Animation. Background in
Unix system administration and Apache Web Server, CGI scripting, servlet, a
plus. Sensitivity to web based issues such as file size, color palettes,
dithering, platform compatibility. The ability to create iconographic images
and to create imagery that communicates concepts and ideas. Good communication
and team playing skills a must. Responsibilities will include management and
coordination of all things relating to developing and maintaining a web site:
design, content, web operations, quality assurance and web procedures.

Prefer US citizenship but will consider all qualified applicants.  We are
located in Mclean, VA but your physical presence is not mandatory.
