I bet it runs like crap under IIS when used as a COM scripting
engine (just as Perl does)

To clarify, I didn't mean using PHP as a script engine, but as a
language for ASP. I want to know experiences (if any) of those
who use PHP as a scripting language for ASP or even ASP.NET. For
instance, comfort with using the intrinsic ASP / ASP.NET objects.
PHP's object-orientedness in an ASP environment. That kind of
stuff.

As well as whether you're using PHP as a scripting language for
ASP, or as the PHP engine.

I develop on a WinNT system with apache/php/MySQL, as well as a
Linux/php/MySQL server. I publish from my server NT to the devl.
Linux server, then to the production Linux server.
I killed IIS and installed Apache when I (decided to) use PHP and
MySQL for this project, for reasons of cost and robustness. I
guess... if I'm motivated enough.... I'll set up another IIS
server and run this site using PHP and MySQL, then see what
happens.
