I have encountered behaviour such as this on many occassions...

there is no set fix for it, but I have tried moving the style settings
from inline (i.e. for example, <div style="position:absolute;top:10px;visibility:hidden">)
to a class instead: <div class="dumbBrowser">

or something like that.... this has solved problems occassionally...

at other times, I have fixed this by re-arranging the HTML code itself,
where positioned elements do not necessarily need to be located at 
any specific point in the page, just so long as they are there...
(why does this fix it? - go ask Netscape)

at other times, including SOME of the inline style settings, and placing
others in a CLASS have solved things... and some times I cannot solve it,
and leave a rather shoddy-looking Netscape version of the web page...

my philosophy right now is that if someone has to view a substandard
web page with Netscape, then let them!
better browsers ARE available...

hope these suggestions help in some miniscule way... (it can be alot of
work, but the satisfaction of conquering Netscape's ineptitude is worth it,
AND you get your page to look right)

Hi all,
I am having problems with my style sheet displaying in Netscape browser.
(Netscape is our organization standard right now). Each time I open the
browser anew and load a page that calls one of the style sheets, it does
not display the styles, but shows code. If I hit reload, the style
sheets then display properly and continue to display properly until the
next time I open the browser (and this is not even consistent). Can
anyone tell me what is going on and how to solve it?
