Chat program help

We're interested in having the ability for our customers to chat with some
of our people once a week for about a half-hour.  We'd like it to have a
laid-back, AIM feel to it, but at the same time we want to have the ability
to screen out abusive language, etc.  --some sort of administrator feature.

Can anyone with a lot of chat software experience suggest some options?
