I got it as well yesterday. I've been online since the 80's and have taken
great pride in the fact that I had never, ever sent a virus.

In my case I had just imported email to a computer I purchased 6 months ago
and had never used. I made the mistake of importing the email and using it
to pick up email without updating the virus program it came with or the
patches for the email client.

I've taken MacAfee off all my computer and replaced it with Norton
anti-virus, it just seems to cause a lot less trouble and yes it practically
takes an act of God to get Mac Afee off your system. Their own program
uninstaller guaranteed to get the remnants of other software off your pc
doesn't even get their own off.

Today my Nortons has caught the virus attempting to come 4 times! It also
scans all my email before it goes out.

Nortons was the only way I got those 2 deadly files out of Windows/system
without dealing with DOS. It first quarantines them, then you have to
reboot, rerun scan and select delete finish scan, reboot and it should be
gone. Norton does have a free 30 trial that functions fully.
