Hi Everybody,

I have a little problem, and hope some of you could check. We created a
website for "PharmaDM", a bio-computer related compagny.. Check the website:
http://www.pharmadm.be

At designing and creating, we had in our thoughts that the "pharma-sector"
uses NETSCAPE 4.7 and stuff like that, so we made the site ok for as wel NN
as IE.

But ...

The folowing reaction came in a few days after upload.

It looks like PharmaDM have redesigned their website. For someone not on
a Windows machine the writing is unreadable (Netscape on solaris) or
unbelievably tiny (Mozilla on linux), and you need java, shockwave, and
various completely unnecessary but trendy things installed to be able to
use the website. The menus don't even align properly on my desktop (but
they do on my smaller screen laptop).
Maybe all the customers are on Windows machines with all the necessary
utils installed and time to wait while the applications load, but if I
were a business I wouldn't want to lose any customers over a
difficult-to-use web site. Also, why make people register then wait for
a password to get access to publications and product flyers? Don't you
want to encourage people to read these?

I agree with Amanda the new web site is a disaster. It just hung
"Loading ..." using Netscape, and the same thing happened with
Explorer if I refused to download Flash player.
You will loose customers.

So ...
I hope some of you can take a look, en maybe even with the systems/browsers
mentioned.
We are a little bit desperate after comment like this ... We did the best we
could to fix it for NN 4.7, and now some old-system-user destroied the trust
PharmaDM sets in us.

What should we do with this?
