Um.  Has anyone ever thought about the lame arguments that happen that
shouldn't be on this list?

Everyone is always bitching about what should be discussed and what
shouldn't be discussed.  Then there's a bunch of fights about it and the
list ends up getting hundreds of emails about this one little argument.

Even now, "Reminder:  HWG-Techniques' purpose..." is going to become one of
those arguments that goes on and on with people putting in their two cents
all the time.  Meanwhile, there's no place on the list for arguments.  I did
not join this list to debate 24/7 about what to talk about.

The NN versus IE discussion may or may not be a techniques subject.  I'm not
even going to add my opinion cause there's no point.  Some people will find
a good learning experience when comparing the two browsers.  Others will get
somewhat annoyed.  But hey, I'm sure we all get annoyed about people asking
the same questions over and over - yet that's all part of the list's
content.

I know for sure that nobody is gaining or giving any knowledge when you
fight about what belongs here.  And surprisingly enough, these arguments
make up half of my list mail.

So stop with these meaningless arguments because nobody is ever going to
agree.  And may I remind you that moderators DO monitor the list - let them
do their job.

be the total opposite.  Please don't make that yet another argument on the
