Perhaps, in order to stay as universal as possible, watermarked originals in
a standard GIF/JPEG format that click through to a clear, hi-quality Flash
version? This way, the site is usable without a plugin, even if the hi-qual
versions are not...??

I AM NOT REOPENING THIS DEBATE ( although it will probably happen )
One technique that never came up to keep images from being stolen from your
website would be to create all of your pages in/using Flash. In this way,
all
of your content would be protected. You could also just create individual
Flash files for each image, and use them in place of the traditional image
tags. Just a thought, and please DO NOT BEGIN DEBATING :-) Thank you.
