Well, just took a look round NN and Opera, and could find no reference to
any keyboard method of being able to make multiple selections that are
non-contiguous.  It may be that IE is the only Windows graphical browser
that has this keyboard option.

Having said that though, I couldn't find any reference to this in the IE
help files either, so the fact that nothing is given in the Help files for
the other browsers doesn't necessarily mean the function isn't present.
They don't use SHIFT+F8 for multiple selection by keyboard though - in Opera
6 that gives focus to the Search window, while it appeared to have no effect
at all in NN 7.
