Creating promotional literature from templates on the webby "David Clapper" <dclapper(at)clioassociates.com> |
|
One of our clients is a manufacturer of industrial products. HIS clients are dealers and distributors of said products, and we have put together a site to support them. He has a (paper) kit of promotional literature templates which the dealers/distributors can use to produce their own promotional literature, customizing them with their own logos, copy, etc. He would like to create a web-based version of this kit, so that the dealers/distributors can, for example, upload their logo, insert it into an ad template on the site, and output the result as a PDF file (?) which can be printed by their client or taken to a quick-printer. (That's first step - eventually he wants to have templates into which product photos can be selected from an image library, etc., etc.) Given these sketchy requirements, is anyone familiar with software or a service provider which does something like this? Windows NT/IIS platform is preferred, but any suggestions are welcome. TIA . .
