Moving a secure site

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience moving a secure website from one server to
another?
I have a client that is having alot of trouble with their hosting service,
and I am going to offer to move her if she is interested, but want to know
what is involved in moving her Thawte certificate.  I read on their site
only after digging forever to find the FAQ.  Would this be something that my
hosting isp would do for me, or how is this handled?
