Okay, I have tried PHP List, and the others ideas I have been given but I
still cannot find anything for what I am trying to do.
It really is more simple than what it sounds. It sounds more complicated
than it really is. I just want to send the results of a form to a mailing
list. And I need that mailing list to have some type of subscription
management utility. Can any of you give me some pointers on what it is I am
looking for? The reason I can't use most of the mailing list programs, is
because they don't allow me to use multiple fields - they restrict you to
only using a SUBJECT, MESSAGE field.
In my head, what I think I need to do is edit Formmail so that instead of
sending the results to one address, it reads a text file of email addresses
and sends to those addresses. That mailist text file would be managed by
some type of mailist manager. The mailist manager is the easy part. I
don't have a clue of how I would edit Formmail to do it's part. This is
what I am getting stuck on.
This form is going to have multiple authorized users, so I am going to be
setting up a registration script for that. I can do that too!! LOL
I know the ultimate solution would be to hire a CGI or PHP programmer to do
this and get it done for me, but I am doing this for a non-profit and I
don't want to incur anymore costs if at all humanly possible.
THANKS!
Brandon
