I operate in Florida. I do not have a license nor am I required to. I simply
filled in a "Ficticious Name" form that had my SS# , name, address and
business name that I am using along with the $60.00 fee, and I'm legally
allowed to conduct business. Each state has it's own requirements. I would
do a job that was out of state as long as I had a signed contract and half
the fee up front. That of course depends on the ethics of the business in
question. I would certainly be very cautious of course.
