I've been using CSS, if memory serves, for slightly less time, but this was
the first I'd seen this feature - I just checked the reference I used to
learn it (which I readily admit is not exhaustive) and I could find only one
single mention, almost an afterthought - presumably this author did not like
it, and biased me against the shorthand from the get-go. :)

Of course, since they are unheard, or perhaps uncaring, they may be against
me -- it certainly would not be the first time.  But I give, too ... I was
just trying to express an opinion, not win a debate!
