Oops - meant to add that you'll find it a lot easier to read the resulting
email when using a "mailto" action for a form if you add:
enctype="text/plain"
to the FORM tag.
Also be aware that a "mailto" form will only work if the user has their
browser configured so it "knows" what their email software is, and I've
heard from many sources on here that it simply doesn't work at all with
some browser/email combinations. A CGI "form to mail" script is much more
reliable. If you don't have CGI access (I don't), you may find that your
hosting company has some stock CGI scripts available for use, or failing
that there are many remotely hosted CGI scripts available - the lists at
The CGI Resource Index
(http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Remotely_Hosted/) are an
excellent place to start.
HTH (again) :-)
Regards,
Donna
