the above is a php proggy supposed to convert excel files to
a sql database, that's what i thought was the original problem.
i keep it in my little "never had to use it but might proove useful
in the future" directory;
i assume that the easiest way to use it is to upload the excel stuff
and do it on the server, but for _that_ you'll need php;
this has nothing to do with the actual use of the database.
