Shelby - thanks for your sentiments. I've been spending my time on
http://wnbc.com - they have a message board with folks frantically searching
for loved ones. For those of us with research capabilities, there are
websites on businesses that were located in the WTC towers. Some of the
sites are gone, along with the towers. Others are located in offices
elsewhere, and they've posted messages on their homepage with emergency
numbers to call regarding missing employees.

How this works: go to the board, pick out some messages, find the company
the missing person was working for. Go to a search engine to find the
website of that company to see if there are emergency phone numbers for
people to call. Go back to the list, and post a message with this
information. Please don't use this opportunity to promote yourself or your
business.

So many people are looking for loved ones, that the list is rapidly flying
off the page...people are also so stressed and drained that they either
don't know or don't remember to look at previous messages for information.
So answering the messages is a diligent process.

It is here, also, that you will being to find posts on other lists of both
missing and alive, as well as growing lists of the deceased scattered among
the posts for help.

I found this an excellent way to pass my time last night while waiting on
word from friends and co-workers, myself.

Please, let's use other boards available to vent and/or to pass on
information and help. This is still a day of shock for many of us.
