Hi Doug,
content-type simply tells the browser that you are using HTML on the page
expires can be set to a specific date when the page or the content on the
page expires.
pragma? no idea never seen it before.
cache-control tells the browser not to put the page into the cache on the
users computer. This ensures that a new copy of the site is loaded each
time the user visits your site.
