Remember, some *NIX's are commercial and just about all offer optional
paid support plans. However the open source community is amazing and
often there is no topping the support you get there. Look at PHP for
example, you can get replies from the original author himself on the PHP
developers lists, try getting a reply from Bill Gates directly about a
MS product, not that he'd have a reply worth a sh^% anyway... ;-)
