the plugin for flash is only about 300k or so. maybe a little larger.
some sites with flash content are larger than others. it depends. if
your looking for info then flash isnt realy nessacerry... just makes the
experience more interactive and prettyer in a multimedia sorta way. im
just saying that flash is worth while. most sites allow you to chose
between flash and none flash content. that is good. however not all say
the download time of the flash site (in k would be good as some areas
have a bad download rate compaired to others and the visitor knows the
average speed of their connection better than the web designer) which is
bad not to let the person know. but i comes down to personal preferance
again. im in an area of england that gets left behind on everything and
ADSL ..... nothing planned for 3 years so im told by allmighty ripoff
mess it all up BT. grrrrrr.
but, Eurobell in the UK are doign satalite internet. with a little box
of tricks... so ther is hope for us yet!

Hmmm. Tiddly thing, eh? I'm fascinated with flash, don't get me wrong.
However, as a guy stuck in an area with no short-term prospects for
cable
modems or DSL, I value my time too greatly to patronize a site that's
full
of "flash" and sizzle unless I have good reason to believe that their
content is truly worthwhile and cannot be found elsewhere.

(And no, I don't live in the boondocks -- though I often wish I did --
it's
Lansing, the flippin' capital city of Michigan! Long story.)
