Hi all
I had a couple recent requests from a few departments
here at the airports about establishing a web-based
mailing list for various types of customers (media,
business, etc). And I realised there's an apparently
large hole in my web education--I've used lists before
(duh--self-evident) but never had to set one up or
administer them.
We're running IIS 4.0 on NT; would this be tied in to
our Exchange server, or is it completely separate? How
is HWG's list run?
They're looking for a couple options:
allowing users to sign themselves up for one-way
announcements (press releases, for example);
importing esisting email lists of customers
(procurement and business partners, etc.);
verification when first signing up. and I'm sure other
things as they come up (suggestions?)
Thanks in advance, and i'm on digest so please respond
to rickroseDC(at)yahoo.com.
