VRML...is it worth it?

Greetings list.

I'm considering integrating VRML development into our shop.  

I wanted to get some opinions and ask a couple of questions first.  

Is VRML widely used enough to justify the expense?  

Does anyone know if it can easily be integrated with E-Commerce software
like Silver Stream, Net.commerce and Softcart?

Any opinions or experience that you all can throw my way would be
appreciated.
