While I was busy formulating an answer to your question my Pegasus email
crashed and I don't know whether the message has been sent off or not. So, if there appears an half-finished
message in this string, my apologies.

I downloaded a trial version PSP 6.3 this morning to be able to find out 
your problem. (Using a flashy cable connection with unlimited download & Download Accelerator
it is no problem)

After installing and playing around with it I came at the following:

a) Close your image
b) Go to "View" and choose "Full Screen Edit"
c) There is an icon that looks like a plier that says "Toggle Toolbar"
   Pressing this showed a part of the toolbar at the point where I lost
   it. Just enough to drag it it back into the screen.
d) Now you are left with next problem: how to get back to normal screenview.
   I solved it by left-mouse clicking at the invisible part of the upper border
   There you find hidden roll-ups to get back to normal screenview.

As I wrote in the message before Pegasus crashed - the message of which I don't 
know whether it will appear in this string or not -  I don't like PSP!
It never does the thing I want to do in the way I want to do them. It always
brought me bad surprises, like you encounter a bad surprise now with that toolbarproblem.
I bought PSP5 once, tried hard to work with it, decided with a grin that I was too dumb for it and took my loss.
I had Corel installed on my system and now I whistle while I work!
Probably something to consider for you too?
