If you're looking for an offline validator, instead of having to go online 
each time to check code with W3C's, you might want to try A Real Validator at 
http://www.arealvalidator.com/. This is a true validator just like W3C's. It 
isn't freeware, but it's only $25.00 for registration, and that includes free 
upgrades. It validates up to 4.0 tags.
