Laura's book is what got me started doing HTML. My 
daughter, too, who now has three sites of her own up. I 
recommend it in my Web Development training classes, 
too.

WP's still around, and definitely not "stone age." I have 
MS OfficeXP here on a WXP Pro box, and WordXP 
*still* can't do things old WP6.0 could do with ease. ;-)
