Javascript form buttons?

Okay, simple questions here:

I've made some really cool javascript buttons but I want to use them with 
Mal's shopping cart system -- can I do this?

I have to use a form and I know how to use a graphic instead of a form 
button -- but can I somehow merge the three javascript images instead of a 
single image?
