Hi Listers
What I am trying to achieve is:
When a menu item is clicked its listing remains a different colour until a
different page is selected. The menu should always reflect which
page(frame) is being viewed.
Sounds simple huh? not the way I built the site lol
The site has frames but the homepage doesnt, this is part of the problem as
I see it.
I am building the site (using Dreamweaver 4) that ) has a menu frame on the
left and loads the content in to the RH frame. When a page is visited via
the menu its menu entry is a different colour to signify which frame the
visitor is on (using dreamweaver behaviors).
Problems:
1/ When clicking a menu item on the homepage you call a frameset which
doesnt seem to allow for the rollover to work in the LH menu frame so there
are no highlihted menu items until a subsequent item is selected, then it
works as it should, until the homepage is revisited.
2/ There is also a page (frame) "Services offered" which has text links to
the case study frames, when these links are followed the colour of the menu
item does not change because the frame has not been accessed via the menu.
ie it shows the "Services offered" item highlighted even though (eg) case
study 1 has loaded into the frame.
Is there a simple solution to this problem other than re designing the site
which isn't an option at this late stage?
Note:Please be specific if suggesting an html fix, as I dont know html well
enough to code in it, I am limited to cutting and pasting / troubleshooting.
the site is temporarily at:
