i haven't heard of that, but if it were going to work AND you knew all your
users had Word on their machine, you would probably say "click here to
print" and have it open the word document.  within the word document, you
could have a macro that automatically prints to the default printer when the
document opens and then closes the document.  

on second thought:  you would have to say "click here to print" and then
assure people that it's okay to "enable macros," something that might be
rather difficult in this day and age.  maybe if you made a .pdf out of it
and had that file automatically print, that would work better with the same
results...  from what i remember, there's a way to go into a .pdf and add a
script to pages, though it may only be forms...  if that's the case, you
could put a button that doesn't print at the top of your .pdf that says
"click here to print" and then it would print it.

Has anyone ever heard of a script to do the following:

Provide a link on a webpage that reads "Click Here to print" and when they
click, it prints a copy of a word document to their printer.

Is it cgi, JavaScript, XML?  Can you point me in the right direction?
