Here is confirmation of what is happening:

Here is the message header from one of the bounced messages.

3) Received: from mail.hwg.org (mail.hwg.org [192.41.44.74])
          by spade.pacific.net.sg with ESMTP

2) Received: from hwg.org (hwg.org [192.41.18.106]) by mail.hwg.org (8.8.5)
id IAA22822; Wed, 15 Nov 2000 

1) Received: from pmdf (mail.sgcna.com [207.106.118.100]) by hwg.org (8.8.5)
id IAA25695; Wed, 15 Nov 2000

Translation:
1) It shows how my mail server sent it to HWG
2) The HWG mail server processes it
3) It is passed by the hwg mail server to spade.pacific.net.sg
4) It is passed by the server spade.pacific.net.sg to pob5.pacific.net.sg
5) Then finally to serene.pacific.net.sg which returns the error message 
6) Error message.

Therefore until either HWG removes them from the list, (LG! ;) )
Or the address comes back on line.
We just have to ignore the bounces, or quit posting to the list and either
filter the returns or just plain delete them from our mail.

I hope that has cleared up exactly what is happening
