Hi all,


for those who are handcoding, I have now used shortkeys lite for quite some
time - it's a program that allows you to type in keytext that is then
replaced by the text you want.  I use it for some routines, like:

$html

will convert to the html needed for a pure page: header, body, footer, meta
tags, dtd,...

$javascript

will convert to the code needed to surround a javascript

...

Apart from this, I have an ftp problem: I've uploaded some files but
something went wrong.  some files like index.html never seemed to have
passed the caching stadium and are now on the server as $~index.html.  If I
want to remove them, I get an error that they don't exist.  If I move them
to a subdirectory by dragging them around, that does work however.  If
someone could offer any view on this?  I tried everything from dragging to
subdirectories to dragging to another ftp site, renaming,... but nothing
seems to work.
